Here’s What’s Happening Around the Seacoast This Weekend- 11/2-11/3

  • Pizza Fest at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire on Saturday, 11/2, from 5 to 7. This family friendly event invites local restaurants to whip up their best pizzas for a tasting and judging. All proceeds go to the museums education funding.

 

  • The Center of the Universe Brewfest is Saturday, 11/2, at the NH Dragway in Epping. Dozens of local brewers and food trucks on hand. Proceeds go towards the public library.

 

  • The Dover Parent Music Club Boosters is holding their annual craft fair on Saturday, 11/2, from 8:30 to 12:30 at Dover High School. All proceeds go towards the high school music department.

 

  • Visitors to artist and craftsmen studios and businesses at the New Hampshire Open Doors event also can sample cocktails and food while looking at crafts in Portsmouth. Now in its 14th year, New Hampshire Open Doors is organized by the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, offering tours, demonstrations and refreshments as they show off their art, crafts, food and other items on Saturday and Sunday. This year, an event called CRAFTED will feature more than 40 League craftsmen, New Hampshire-made spirits and cocktails and tastings from popular restaurants for guests all in one spot, at the Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth.

 

  • The Frank FM Tribute Series welcomes the AC/DC tribute group “Dirty Deeds” to the Rochester Opera House for an 8pm show on Saturday, 11/2. Tickets still available at rochesteroperahouse.com

 

  • The University of New Hampshire football Wildcats host Villanova on Saturday, 11/2 at Wildcat Stadium in Durham.
