Frank FM, New Hampshire’s Greatest Hits, is in the middle of their month-long ‘Franksgiving’ community outreach initiative with fundraisers all over the state. On Saturday, they hosted their second event of the month, a food drive, in Manchester to benefit Families in Transition’s New Horizons Program.
The food drive was at the Market Basket on Elm St. in downtown Manchester from 10am – 2pm on Saturday (November 16). With the help of an awesome Market Basket staff, and a great turnout from Frank FM fans and Manchester residents, the food drive collected over 100 grocery bags full of food, a bunch of frozen turkeys, and $160 in cash donations.
Needless to say, the New Horizon’s van was filled with food upon their return to the Manchester St. food pantry and soup kitchen.
