Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks Schedule This October Across New Hampshire
August 20, 2019

The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks will be held in six locations across New Hampshire this October. These non-competitive events unite communities, honor those touched by the disease and raise awareness and funds for a world without breast cancer. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, with more than 1 million passionate participants supporting the noncompetitive three- to five-mile walks each year.

The 2019 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks include:

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Nashua with Frank FM
Sunday, October 6 at Greeley Park, Nashua

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Greater Lakes Region 105.5/107.3 JYY

Dollars raised help the American Cancer Society fund innovative breast cancer research; provide education and guidance to help people reduce their risk; and offer comprehensive patient support to those who need it most. This year, 1,330 women in New Hampshire will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 180 residents will succumb to the disease.

“At our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks the communities embrace a bittersweet mix of purpose – celebrating survivorship and paying meaningful tributes to loved ones lost. From research to education, prevention to diagnosis and treatment to recovery, we provide support to everyone impacted by breast cancer,” said Chelsea Paradore with the American Cancer Society.
