Frank FM is Sending a Listener to Denmark to ‘Help the Cause of Diplomacy’
In an attempt to make Denmark feel better about residents of the U.S., Frank FM’s ‘Morin in the Morning with Lori D’ put together a trip for two to Denmark.
“We’ve felt really badly knowing that the people of Denmark were hurt over the fact that the U.S. wanted to buy Greenland from them,” Mike Morin explained. “We wanted to do what we could to help the cause of diplomacy. “
Lori D added, “Due to budget constraints, the trip was to Denmark, Maine a weekend at the Denmark Stage Stop House for a foliage weekend complete with seaplane tour of Denmark!”
The winner, Gordon Dains from Concord NH, was ecstatic having won the contest. “Nice! Oh my goodness, that’s so great. That’s a big one for me! My wonderful wife and I will do our best to represent while we’re there.”
The prize package includes a canned danish ham, Danish butter cookies as well as fresh danishes for breakfast.
Qualifiers answered trivia questions about the country of Denmark, and had to speak Danish phrases on the air.
Morin in the Morning With Lori D can be heard weekdays on Frank FM (106.3 in Manchester/Nashua, 99.1 in Concord, 98.3 in the Lakes Region, and 98.7 on the Seacoast).
