Frank FM’s Annual Food Drive to Benefit New Horizons Program is Saturday, November 16
Help us help Families in Transition – New Horizons provide hundreds of meals for the Manchester community this holiday season.
Join Frank FM ‘New Hampshire’s Greatest Hits’ station for its Annual Food Drive on Saturday, November 16th from 10am-2pm at the Manchester Market Basket at 460 Elm St.
This very important food drive benefits the food pantry and soup kitchen of Families in Transition – New Horizons program.
Families in Transition – New Horizons is one of New Hampshire’s largest homeless services agency with locations in Manchester, Concord, Dover, and Wolfeboro, NH. They provide food, shelter, and a full spectrum of services and tools for people to create their own success.
One of their largest programs is New Horizons, a shelter for individuals, soup kitchen and food pantry.
From January 1 through September 30, 2019 the program has:
- # of meals prepared = 166,624
- # of people who accessed the food pantry = 9,500
- # of boxes of food given out at the food pantry = 6,748
- # of people who received shelter at New Horizons = 1,057
