Free Christmas Tree to Needy Seacoast Families

Free Christmas trees will once again be available to families in need
this year, according to Matt Scruton of Ten Rod Farm in Rochester, NH.

Ten Rod Farm is continuing their annual tradition of providing free
Christmas trees to local families in need. Ten Rod Farm is partnering
with the Somersworth Goodwill store to coordinate the tree voucher
distribution.

According to Scruton, a limited number of free
Christmas tree vouchers will be made available for families in need at
the Somersworth Goodwill beginning on Monday, December 16th and they
will be available on a first come first serve basis while they last.

Tree vouchers requests must be made in person at the Somersworth
Goodwill and then redeemed at Ten Rod Farm in Rochester during the
times listed on the voucher for a free fresh cut Christmas tree.

This is the fifth year that Ten Rod Farm and Goodwill have partnered
together to make free trees available during the holidays for families
in need.

Dave has been on Seacoast radio since 2011. After a 20 year career in the U.S. Coast Guard, he decided to trade in a career of driving boats for a career in radio, a place he says he’s always wanted to be. Born in the Bronx, NY and raised in Connecticut, he’s an unapologetic and die-hard Yankees fan (sorry Sox fans). When he’s not behind mic, you can hear him anchoring afternoon news on our sister station, News Talk 1270 WTSN. You can also find him fishing the waters of the Seacoast, or hiking any of the gorgeous White Mountains on the weekend.
